Coach and Investor.
I coach founders of growth stage technology companies to be successful leaders and happy people. I view my coaching relationships as partnerships and not transactional clients. I am also an active angel investor and LP in a variety of growth funds. I live in San Francisco with my wife where I am a proud father of two girls.

Who do I work with?
The companies range from Seed to Series C Stage. On average, they're Series B companies that have raised ~$75M and are trying to scale. Altogether, the companies that have found my coaching useful have a $7B market cap. I provide referrals for potential clients on request. To date, none of my clients have churned.
The CEO role can be a lonely place. That is where my role begins. I am not an employee. I didn’t write you a check. I can’t fire you. My sole focus and incentive is in making you more successful. I am your advocate, your confidant, your council.
Here is list of the common areas I work on with clients:
Building and managing a high performing executive team
Improving personal productivity and time management
Managing your BOD and investors
Implementing high impact low effort processes to scale your business
Be a sparring partner on sensitive strategic issues (M&A, people issues, etc)
Improving your mental health by creating greater awareness of your common thought patterns and emotions
My bio
I coach CEOs of growth stage technology companies and an investor in seed stage companies and various private investment funds. I am also a board member and advisor to growth stage technology companies.
I have an MBA from Harvard Business School and 20+ years of experience working in technology in a variety of roles. I spent my first several years as an engineer and product manager. I wrote code and learned how to ship complex products that you very likely used. I went on to spend 12 years leading partnership initiatives at a series of notable high growth companies including Facebook, Segment, Amperity, and Framer. I built partnerships that had a large impact on companies and industries (e.g. Instagram). At Facebook I managed the early partnerships for many (now) iconic startups, such as Instagram, Dropbox, and Airbnb. That exposure inspired me to continue working with founders as an advisor and angel investor. Today that is my sole focus.
I have a BS in Computer Engineering from Northwestern; I still like to code at my own peril.
